Serving the counties of
Franklin, Kennebec, and Somerset
in the great state of Maine.

 Our goals are simple:
~to have fun with our dogs
~to be role models for other dog owners

The Tri-County Obedience Club was created in 2004 to promote sport and fun with purebred and mixed-breed dogs. It is for people who are interested in deepening the bond with their dogs through training.

Obviously we focus on obedience, but we also explore other canine activities that promote appropriate dog behavior and responsible dog ownership. Our members are diverse in their interests … from formal Obedience and Rally to hunt tests, field trials, carting, freestyle, trick dogs, agility, etc. We try to have a little bit for everyone.

This is a chance to get together and network with other dog    people. The club incorporates the counties of Kennebec, Franklin, and Somerset, but anyone from anywhere can join the organization.

If you love your dog and want to get together with fellow dog enthusiasts and their dogs, come join the fun!

Tri-County Obedience Club's DIRIGO AWARD for Leadership

The Dirigo Award is given  to the member that the membership feels has contributed greatly to the Tri-County Obedience Training Club, to dog welfare, to the education of the public in responsible dog ownership or to the enhancement of dogs in general. No member shall be allowed to receive this award two years in a row, and while the committee appointed to review nominations should do so annually, the award need not necessarily be presented every year.
Congratulations to Donna Whitney, the first recipient of the Dirigo Award! As a founding member and dedicated leader who works tirelessly within our club, Donna was the obvious choice for this prestigious award. Again, congratulations and a big thanks to Donna.
